At Osaka University, there are a number of resources regarding consultation about whistle-blowing

Cases that are subject to whistle-blowing

The following cases occurring through the affairs of Osaka University engaging in by an organization, officer, faculty or staff of the University are subject to whistle-blowing:

  1. Fact of criminal act provided for in the Act listed in the Appendix of the Whistleblower Protection Act (including the orders based on those Acts; the same shall apply to the following Item)
  2. Fact, in the case where a violation of a disposition pursuant to the Act listed in the Appendix of the Whistleblower Protection Act constitutes the fact provided for in the preceding Item, which is the ground of the said disposition (including the fact, in the case where the said ground is the fact which is the violation of other disposition or not complying with recommendation, etc. pursuant to the Act listed in the appendix, which is the ground of the said other disposition or recommendation, etc.).

Individuals who may utilize whistle-blowing consultation services

Faculty and staff of Osaka University, including workers who engage in works at the university under worker dispatch contract or other agreements with the university.

**Whistle-blowing from parties unaffiliated with Osaka University will be handled in the same fashion as whistle-blowing from sources inside the university.

Whistle-blowing process

Applications for whistle-blowing are accepted at the following consultation services by telephone, postal mail, e-mail, fax, or interview.

・ As a rule, only applications with your name, contact information, and the details of the case clearly express are accepted.
 However, applications are occasionally accepted when all of the above are not expressly denoted if there is significant reason or evidence regarding the case.
  If the name and contact information of the applicant are not clearly denoted, the applicant will not be informed of the results of the investigation.

・Written application: Please submit a Whistle-Blowing Form (PDF / Word) to one of the Whistle-Blowing Consultation Services listed below.
・Interview application: Please submit an Interview Application Form (PDF / Word) to one of the Whistle-Blowing Consultation Services listed below. We will inform you of the time, date, and location of your interview.
