Energy-saving measures taken at Osaka University

Electricity Consumption Visualization System

The Electricity Consumption Visualization System allows users to find out when, where, and how much electricity is being consumed by calculating electricity consumption measured by electrical room (generally per building), collecting the data via an in-house network, and publishing it to members of the university. (Only members of the university may view this data. This system currently only supports Internet Explorer.)

Moving forward, the university intends to publish and analyze the data acquired via this system to optimize and rationalize energy use while raising awareness of energy-saving among members of the university.

The Electricity Consumption Visualization System is currently undergoing maintenance. It is scheduled to resume operations in April 2020.
