Osaka University-RIKEN Center for Science and Technology

On August 1, 2018, the Osaka University-RIKEN Center for Science and Technology was established in order to develop conventional project-based collaborative relationships between OU and RIKEN into inter-organizational collaboration and further strengthen their collaborative system.

RIKEN aims to work together with universities all over Japan to enhance scientific capabilities and form organizations that function as science and technology hubs for creating innovation through collaboration with research institutes, universities, and industrial circles both inside and outside of Japan. To achieve these goals, RIKEN established the center at OU.

This Center already contains the "Quantitative Biology Engineering Research Section," which performs integrated research in the field of systems science of biological dynamics, but it will continue implementing existing collaborative projects at OU as part of the center-led projects.
