Osaka University Environmental Report 2015

Osaka University Environmental Report 2015, which compiles results of activities related to the environment at Osaka University, has been published. This Environmental Report, based on the Eco-Friendly Business Promotion Act, has been published every year since 2006.

This report introduces energy usage and solid waste production of the university, as well as efforts by the Cybermedia Center's IT Core Annex to reduce environmental burden, the student club that won the grand prize at EcoCon 2014, and the activities of the International Dietary Education Group "Omusubi," among various other activities related to the environment.

In the 2014-2015 academic year, we were able to reduce CO2 output when compared with the previous year. We have also received independent opinions from the Director of Environmental Policy, Department of Environment, Suita City.
