Obtaining Undergraduate School Guidelines

How to obtain Application Guidelines for the 2012-2013 academic year containing information on entrance examination subjects and screening methods

Application Guidelines 2012~2013, containing information on examination contents, will be available as follows:

Date: The guidelines will be available from late July.

Location: The guidelines will be available from the Admission Division of the Department of Student Affairs.

2. Document request via interactive voice response
Make a telephone call to the following number and dial the document request number; the document will be sent in two or three days. If you request before the first date for shipping, the document will be sent two or three days after shipping starts. The "Osaka University Handbook" can be requested in addition to "Osaka University 2012~2013 Application Guidelines."

Document request by postal mail 

Applicants are requested to send the Admission Division of Department of Student Affairs (refer to Contact Lists for Admission for the address) an envelope with "Request for 2012 Application Guidelines" written in red on the front and your postal code, address, and name on the back. Enclose a self-addressed, 33.2 cm x 24.0 cm envelope with 240 yen's worth of postage stamps (580 yen's worth of postage stamp if you are also requesting the Osaka University Handbook) affixed.
If your return address is outside Japan, please enclose an international return coupon for air mail weighing 250 g with your request. (700 g if you are also requesting the Osaka University Handbook.)
