To individuals taking the 2024 Common Test for University Admissions at Osaka University

The Common Test for University Admissions will be held at Osaka University for two days from Saturday, January 13, 2024. Applicants are encouraged to read the following and take exams at the examination venues on the university’s Toyonaka and Suita campuses.

Checking out the examination site

Applicants who wish to check out the examination site should visit on the date and times listed below:

  • 13:00~17:00 on Friday, January 12, 2024

You may not enter any buildings where the exams will be held.
*The arrangement of exam rooms will be on display at the exam sites.

Transportation

  • You may not enter these campuses by automobile, taxi, motorbike, or bicycle on the day preceding and the day of the test. (This does not include vehicles for which permission has been obtained for reasons such as special arrangements for students requiring a vehicle to take the exam.)
  • Please utilize public transportation when coming to the examination site.
  • Refrain from picking up/dropping off applicants at the examination site with private automobiles as this can cause congestion on the roads and inconvenience residents and facilities in the area.
  • *Do not park at or around business establishments in the area such as convenience stores or restaurants.

Reducing congestion when entering examination rooms

The doors to the examination rooms open 1 hour before examinations begin. Waiting rooms will be available to use from 8:00 a.m.

Important notes

  • Keep quiet in and around the buildings in which examinations will be held.
  • You do not need to change into indoor shoes when entering examination rooms.
  • Osaka University campuses are entirely smoke-free. There are no smoking areas on campus.
