Recruitment of the 21st Presidential Awards for Extracurricular Activities postponed

The Presidential Awards for Extracurricular Activities, sponsored by the Osaka University Foundation for the Future, were established for the purpose of recognizing outstanding extracurricular activities in order to reinvigorate and improve student activities. This year marks the 21st anniversary of the awards.

In the past, applications were accepted from April to May every year; however, this year, recruitment has been postponed to July or later because of the school shutdown and total prohibition of extracurricular activities in response to the government’s state-of-emergency declaration over the spread of the novel coronavirus.
