Professor Emeritus YAMAZAKI Masakazu selected to receive Order of Culture

Professor Emeritus YAMAZAKI Masakazu (School of Letters) was selected to receive the Order of Culture.

The award ceremony will be held at the Tokyo Imperial Palace on November 3, 2018.

I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Professor Emeritus YAMAZAKI Masakazu on receiving the Order of Culture.

In addition to his achievements at Osaka University's School of Letters, Dr. Yamazaki has also had great success as a playwright, critic, and in nurturing younger generations and participating in social and cultural activities. I am both deeply respectful of all that Dr. Yamazaki has accomplished and elated that these accomplishments have culminated in such a prestigious honor.

Osaka University takes great pride in Dr. Yamazaki's selection to receive the Order of Culture.

I want to once again extend my heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Yamazaki and pray for his continued health and success in the future.

Dr. Yamazaki's achievements will serve as an inspiration to all of the faculty and staff members at OU as we work hard toward the continued development of the university.
