2017-2018 Osaka University Research Abroad Program and Osaka University Visiting Scholar Program
Osaka University is implementing the Osaka University Research Abroad Program and Osaka University Visiting Scholar Program . These programs aim, through joint authorship of international theses and establishment of international joint labs, etc., to increase opportunities for conducting international joint research projects at and by Osaka University.
As for the projects to be initiated during the 2nd period starting from August 2017, the winners noted below were selected. Applicants for the 3rd period starting from November 2017 are now being accepted.
Content of support
Osaka University will provide support for travel and living expenses for OU researchers sent overseas for research projects and/or for outside researchers coming to OU as a part of such projects.
- OU researchers: up to 1 million yen for a short-term project
- Outside researchers: up to 1.5 million yen for a short-term project
