"14th Osaka University Future Talk" held

On Thursday, November 13, the 14th Osaka University Future Talk was held at Osaka University Hall.
KOBAYASHI Makoto, Distinguished Professor, High Energy Accelerator Research Organization, who received one half of the 2008 Nobel Prize in Physics, delivered a speech to some 600 in attendance. He explained difficult topics such as particle-antiparticle asymmetry, CP violation, and the ultimate elements of matter in the universe in an easy-to-understand way. Participants listened to his talk with keen interest.
The university expresses its sincere appreciation to all persons for their participation in this event despite the cold temperatures.
For the15th Future Talks AKASHI Yasushi, former UN Undersecretary General and Director, International House of Japan, will present a talk entitled "What is real globalization? What is peace?"
