Graduate School Commencement Ceremony, September 2012

The Graduate School Commencement Ceremony was held at MO Hall in the Convention Center on Tuesday, September 25. Degrees were conferred upon 209 graduates, specifically, master's degrees on 64 and doctoral degrees on 145.

President Toshio HIRANO publicly conferred the diplomas for 20 representative graduates of the assembled graduates.

President Hirano presented an address in which he entreated them to "Pursue your interest in whatever fields you choose and become a leader in that field. To that end, make use of your ability to see beyond, to see the essence of things as you've learned at Osaka University. Make every effort to achieve your goals."
