Flooding forces postponement of "Handai-Gaidai Alumni Reunion" in Bangkok

As many of you are aware, the Osaka University Bangkok Alumni Association and the Bangkok branch of the Osaka University of Foreign Studies' Alumni Association, Sakuyakai , had scheduled a joint alumni reunion in Bangkok , Thailand for Saturday , October 15 . Unavoidably, however, due to the severe flooding in Bangkok and much of Thailand, this " Handai-Gaidai [Osaka University and Osaka University of Foreign Studies] Alumni Reunion " has been postponed until 2012. At this time, the joint reunion is tentatively rescheduled for mid-January 2012.

The organizers sincerely apologize for this last-minute cancellation, and look forward to seeing many alumni and friends in January 2012.
