Students, you can now visit Tekijuku for free!

Beginning from August 1, 2011, all Osaka University students (including auditors, research fellows, etc.) will be able to visit Tekijuku without having to pay the admission fee.

This is a great chance because, as you may know, Tekijuku , one of Osaka University's historical roots, is both a National Historical Landmark and an Important Cultural Asset. Visit Tekijuku and, while learning the history, see first-hand some of the scholarship upon which this university was built.

Note : You will have to present your Student ID in order to be admitted .

Business Hours of Tekijuku: 10:00 a.m. ~ 4:00 p.m.

Tekijuku is closed on:

  • Mondays (however, if the Monday is a national holiday, Tekijuku is open)
  • The day following a national holiday (however, if that day is a Saturday, Sunday, or successive national holiday, Tekijuku is open)
  • December 28 ~ January 4

Access by public transportation : Get off Keihan or Subway trains at Yodoyabashi Station or Kitahama Station . In the case of Osaka City Bus , get off at Yodoyabashi .
