3rd OPENeD Symposium: Promoting Gender Diversity in the Era of COVID-19

Overview

Osaka University was the only institute selected for the 2018 Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) "Initiative for the Implementation of the Diversity Research Environment (National Network Core Institute)." Since the 2018-19 academic year, the university has constructed Progressive Initiatives of Empowering Network for Diversity (OPENeD) in order to realize an inclusive society in which every individual has an active role to play regardless of gender. OPENeD consists of 159 institutes in the fields of higher education, research institutes, and businesses as of October 2020.

In this symposium, we will conduct interim reviews and discuss promoting gender diversity in this era of COVID-19. We hope you’ll join us.
