Study Abroad Consultations from Former Exchange Students

For those of you who have thought to yourself, "I want to hear about study abroad from someone with experience as an exchange student," we'll be holding study abroad consultation sessions during lunch!

If you have any interest at all in studying abroad, we encourage you to come to one of these sessions!

There is no registration required for these sessions, so please come directly to the venue on one of the dates listed below.

*In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, Osaka University will be offering consultation services online for the time being during the 2020-21 fall and winter terms.

In-person consultation sessions will resume once classes have returned to normal.

Consultation services will be conducted via Skype.

1. Select "People, groups & messages" and type the username 学生による留学相談＠阪大 in the "Search Skype" field.

2. Click the “Contact” icon.

3. Type your name, affiliation, year in school, and student ID number in the chat window and select the "Send" button.

4. Wait until you are approved.

5. After approval, you can talk with a counselor.

Notes:

If a time slot fills up, you may be asked to wait for the next available time.

Your account will be deleted after consultation with you.

Toyonaka Campus

• Dates and Times: (All sessions on Mondays) October 5, October 19, November 2, November 16, December 17, December 21, January 4, January 18 -- 12:00~13:00

• Venue: Center for International Education and Exchange Office, Toyonaka Campus (2F, Student Center)

Advisor

• KIMOTO Yuta (4th year, Osaka School of International Public Policy, School of Law/studied as an exchange student at The Australia National University, a recipient of the JASSO Study Abroad Scholarship)

Minoh Campus

• Dates and Times: (All sessions on Wednesdays) October 14, October 28, November 4, November 11, November 25, December 9, December 23, January 6, January 20  -- 12:00~13:00

• Venue: Center for International Education and Exchange Office, Minoh Campus (1F, B Wing)

Advisor

• TAGAMI Momomi (4th year, School of Foreign Studies, studied as an exchange student at the Wesleyan College (USA), a recipient of JASSO Study Abroad Scholarship)
