Special Integrated Science Course

The Special Integrated Science Course is a graduate program for students who have completed the Chemistry-Biology Combined Major Program at Osaka University or those who graduated from the school of biology, chemistry, and macromolecular science at OU or other universities.

The Special Integrated Science Course commenced in October 2010, and is designed to train next generation of cutting-edge scientists.

This program helps students to improve their basic academic skills in a wide range of fields as well as cutting-edge knowledge and skills in specialized fields through small-group learning and advanced research.

Students in the Special Integrated Science Course belong to the Graduate School of Science and can obtain the master's and doctor's degrees. To obtain both two degrees, it is necessary to seamlessly major in chemistry, biological sciences, or macromolecular science in this course.
