In November 2023, the Team for Promoting Employment of Individuals with Challenges invited families of persons with challenges working at the university to family gatherings, which were held on the university's campuses (Suita, Toyonaka, and Minoh). The families watched those with challenges work and exchanged opinion.

Among some 40 participants, some expressed their satisfaction with the gatherings and their hope that these gatherings will continue to be held.

• "My family praised me for my hard work after I got home."

• "I couldn’t get sufficient information to know what they are doing at work from them, so I feel much better after observing their work for real."
• "As enough support is offered to them, I felt that they can work with peace in mind."

The Team for Promoting Employment of Individuals with Challenges will enhance the quality of these family gatherings and hold them annually. Along with that, the team will take feedback from the family to the heart and improve the working environment so that individuals with challenges can actively work.
