Increasing number of Female Faculty Members

After compiling statistics, it was found that the employment rate for female faculty members was 17.1% and that of female faculty members as associate professors, in particular, increased. Although the total number of female faculty members is currently 13.9% and rising, unfortunately, the situation remains that the higher the level of the faculty position, the lower the percentage of women. In order to create harmonious diversity at Osaka University, coalescing wisdom from diverse personnel is essential. In order to establish a university where all members, regardless of gender, can achieve their fullest ability, we would appreciate the cooperation and understanding of all concerned parties.
