Curriculum Policies state basic principles of design for curriculum and class content and education methods necessary for implementing the Education Objectives and Diploma Policies. Based on Curriculum Policies of Osaka University as a whole, curriculum for undergraduate and graduate courses are laid out as follows.

Undergraduate courses
In order to have students acquire knowledge and skills set out in the policies of degree conferment, Osaka University systematically designs general education classes, specialized education classes, and other necessary classes and provides them with appropriate lectures, practices, and training.
Graduate courses
In order to have students acquire knowledge and skills set forth in policies for degree conferment, Osaka University systematically designs specialized classes, cross-border graduate school classes, and classes appropriate for Programs for Leading Graduate Schools and offers such class with appropriate lectures, practices, and training as well as excellent research guidance.
