The following graduate schools accept such students: Letters, Human Sciences, Law and Politics, Economics, Science, Dentistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, Engineering Science. However, applicants are required to have a master's degree or similar background.

Special Research Students: Programs open to students who are enrolled in another graduate school, but who wish to receive research guidance at one of Osaka University's graduate schools.
