This facility is for international or Japanese researchers/students --accompanied or unaccompanied by their family-- as well as university hospital out-patients and/or their family members who stay less than one month. Such persons can make reservations using this page.

Details of the type of room available in Kasugaoka House

S type: 21 units (12 sq. m.)

Furnishings: Single bed, bedding, air conditioning, refrigerator, hair dryer, hot water pot, desk, desk lamp, chair, mirror, free internet access.

For rent: yukata [Japanese "bathrobe"]

For sale: Shampoo, conditioner, comb, brush, razor, body shampoo, soap (bar), tooth brush set.

The Kasugaoka House offers the following: English-capable staff, good security (auto-lock at main entrance), laundry room with washing machine/dryer (2 units), the lounge area has bake & toast microwave oven for your use at no extra charge.

Charge per night: ¥3,000

Regarding the room fee:

• Payment in full for the number of days you will stay should be made at the time of check-in at the front desk.
• If you cannot/do not pay, then the school or facility you are associated with will be expected to pay on your behalf.
• Under no circumstances are room fees refunded.

Making application

• You can apply in advance of your planned occupancy (beginning at 9:00 a.m.) on the same day of the month preceding the first day of your planned occupancy.

Changing your reservation

• If you must change your reservation, first please cancel the original reservation and then make a new reservation.
• The maximum length of stay is one month; however, in exceptional circumstances, an extension of up to one month may be possible.
