国際交流助成

◆援助の対象

(1) 援助対象とする海外渡航

・ 申込者が中心となって行った情報通信に関する研究について、海外で開催される国際会議などに出席し発表する場合

・ 海外で開催される国際会議などにおいてセッション等の議長若しくはパネリストある いはプログラム委員会メンバーとして会議に参加する場合

・ 海外における情報通信に関する国際機関が主催する会議での討議に参加する場合

（注）国際機関が主催する会議での討議に参加とは、国際的利害事項について審議等を行う機関に国の代表者等として出席する場合をいいます。申し込まれる場合は事前にご連絡ください。

(2) 援助申込の対象者 日本の大学等及び研究機関に所属する研究者の方、大学院生でいわゆる博士課程（後 期）に在学する方。40 歳以下（申込年度の 4 月 1 日時点）で、所属する機関の長の推薦を受 けた方。

なお、大学院博士前期課程・修士課程の方は対象外とします。

(3) 援助申込に関する制約

① 当財団以外から援助を受ける場合には当財団の援助を重複して受けることはでき ません。ただし、当財団以外からの援助額の合計が当財団に申し込む援助額の 30%以下の場合は、この限りではありません。

② 申込者への援助は連続する２年度の間に１回を限度とし、通算３回までとします。なお、当財団の海外渡航旅費援助を3 回以上受けられた方は、ご応募をご遠慮ください。ただし、国際機関での討議に参加する場合を除きます。

③ 一つの論文、テーマに関する研究発表のための援助申込は、１名１回とします。

◆申込受付期間

申込は通年で受け付けており、2ヶ月に 1 回審査します。 ４月、６月、８月、１０月、１２月、２月の各１日までに、それぞれ翌月 1 日から６ヶ月先まで に開催される学会への参加について申込みを受け付けます。 受付締切日と援助対象となる会議開催日の対応は次表のとおりです。

直近の受付締切は2025年12月1日

◆応募者が所属機関の長に該当する場合は、学長推薦が必要となります。

その場合、受付締切の2週間前までに国際学術係まで必要書類を提出のこと

当財団ホームページの電子申請（Web 申請システムによるマイページ取得、提出書類 ファイルのアップロード）による受付を行います。マイページ取得は１件の申込ごとに必要です

Grant for Overseas Study Assistance

Application Guidelines (Year-Round Applications)

1. Outline

To advance the dissemination and development of information and communication technology (ICT), the foundation supports researchers engaged in studies on ICT in the fields of humanities, social sciences, and technology by partially covering the travel expenses for their presentations at international conferencesheld overseas.

For the time being, in order to prevent COVID-19, international conferences held online are eligible for support.

2. Eligibility for Overseas Study Assistance

i. Eligible Overseas Travel

・Applicants who have conducted ICT research as the principal researcher and plan to present it at an international conference held overseas are eligible for support.

・Applicants who participate in an international conference held overseas as a session chair, panelist, or member of the program committee are eligible for support.

・Applicants participating in discussions at conferences hosted by international organizations are eligible for support.

To apply for support to participate as a national representative in discussions held by international organizations on matters of international concern, please contact us in advance

ⅱ.Eligible Applicants

This program is open to researchers and doctoral students aged 40 years or younger as of 1 April of the fiscal year of application, and affiliated with universities or research institutions in Japan.

Applicants must submit a recommendation letter from the head of their institution.If the applicant is a dean or director, a letter of recommendation from the president of the University of Osaka is required.

Students in master’s programs are not eligible.
