・国内開催

 1. 国内の大学または研究施設などに所属する医学研究者で、国際シンポジウムの開催責任者（主宰者）であること。

 2.申請は1人につき同一年度内1件とします。

・海外開催

 1.国内の大学または研究施設などに所属する医学研究者で、国際シンポジウムのオーガナイザー、或いは日本側を代表するコ・オーガナイザーであること。

 2.日本国籍を有する者、または日本への永住が許可されている者。

 3.申請は1人につき同一年度内1件とします。

◆開催対象期間

・2026年4月1日から2027年3月31日の間に開催する集会

◆応募期間

・2025年 8月1日（金）9:00 〜 2025年 11月28日（金）24:00

 ◆助成金額

・国内開催

最大300万円

・海外開催

最大150万円

※国内、海外開催共通：助成金の使途は定めません。ただし、懇親会費への充当は認めません。

◆採択予定人数

  国内開催、海外開催とも1件

◆応募に関する注意点

・国内開催の参加者における外国側参加者の割合は１割以上、海外開催の参加者における外国側参加者の割合は5割以上が望ましい。

* Support for holding international symposium

1. Outline

This foundation supports international medical research symposia in Japan and abroad to promote the medical research domestically.

2. Application period: 9:00 a.m. (JST), Friday, 1 August 2025, to 24:00 a.m. (JST), Friday, 28 November 2025

3. Allocation

*There are no specific restrictions on the use of grant funds; however, expenses for social gatherings are not covered.

(1) In the case of symposium held in Japan : up to　3,000,000 yen

(2) In the case of symposium held overseas: up to 1,500,000 yen

4. Period

The symposium must be held between 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027.

5. Eligibility

General Information for Symposia Held in Japan and Overseas

・ Graduate students are eligible to apply, but may need to submit a CV after submitting an application form.

・ Graduate students must submit a CV form which is downrodable from the below site

(1) In the case of symposium held in Japan

・ Applicants must be medical researchers affiliated with universities, graduate schools, or research institutions in Japan.

・ Graduate students are eligible to apply, but may need to submit a CV after submitting an application form.

・ Applicants must be an organizer of an international symposium held in Japan.

・ Applicants may submit only one application per year.

(2) In the case of symposium held overseas

・ Applicants must be medical researchers affiliated with universities, graduate schools, or research institutions in Japan.

・　Applicants must be an organizer of an international symposium, or a co-organizer representing the Japanese side.

・　Applicants must be Japanese nationals or hold permanent residence in Japan.

・Applicants may submit only one application per year.

6. Number of scholarships: total two scholarships (one each for a symposium to be held in Japan and abroad)

7. Notes

* In the case of symposium held in Japan, a participation rate of 10% or more by international (non-Japanese) attendees is desirable.

* In the case of symposium held overseas, a participation rate of 50% or more by international (non-Japanese) attendees is desirable.

8. Application process

Applicants are required to submit all necessary documents within the specified period.
