（公財）鹿島学術振興財団外国人研究者招へい・受入（長期・短期）

2025年7月1日 (火) から 2025年10月15日 (水) まで

我が国の学術の発展並びに学術の国際交流を図るため、工学を含む自然科学、人文・社会科学、学際融合的な分野・領域等において、国民生活向上への寄与が期待される研究を幅広く対象とする。

※ (1)～(4)に関連する社会システム、情報技術等先端技術に関するものを含む

（1）招へい（短期）
顕著な研究業績を有する外国人上級研究者（教授級）を対象、期間３ヵ月以内。渡航費等と滞在費（17,000円／日）
＊2025年度採択実績　申請3件　採択2件

（2）受入れ（長期）
有能な外国人中堅研究者（准教授級）及び若手研究者（助教、大学院生）を対象、期間1年以内。渡航費と滞在費（中堅研究者約10,000円／日、若手研究者約200,000円／月）
＊2025年度採択実績　申請12件　採択5件

申請者が所属機関の長に該当する場合は、学長推薦が必要となります。

THE KAJIMA FOUNDATION

Researcher Exchange Support, Short-term / Long-term Research Program for International Researchers

Outline

Financial support for research expenses is provided to joint research activities conducted by both Japanese and international researchers.

This grant supports the following research fields:

(1) Improvement of urban and residential environments

(2) Effective utilization of land and resources

(3) Promotion of disaster prevention and crisis management

(4) Preservation of cultural and natural environments

* Research may also include advanced technologies, such as social systems and information technologies, related to items (1) through (4).

2. Eligibility

(1)　Invited researchers (short term)

・ The invited researchers must be a senior level foreign scholar with distinguished research achievements.

・ Duration of assignment: Within 3 months

・ Allocation for travel and living expenses: 17,000 yen per day

(2) Invited researchers (long term)

・ The invited researchers must be a competent mid-level foreign scholar and young researchers including assistant professors and graduate students

・ Duration of assignment: Within one year

・ Allocation for travel and living expenses:

Mid-level foreign researchers: 10,000 yen per day

Young researchers: 200,000 yen per month.

3. Letter of Recommendation

1) Applicants are required to submit a letter of recommendation from a dean or director at a graduate school or research institute.

2) Applicants who are a dean or director must submit a letter of recommendation from the president of the University of Osaka

4. Deadline: Wednesday, 15 October 2025

Note: If the applicant is a dean or director, the application form must be submitted to the International Affairs Division by 17:00 (JST) on Wednesday, 24 July 2025.

5. Application Process:
