国際交流助成

【助成金額・助成対象期間・助成件数】

(1) 助成金額

国際会議発表：上限 70 万円 ※間接経費(管理費)を含む

短期在外研究：上限 120 万円 ※間接経費(管理費)を含む

(2) 助成対象期間 2027 年 4 月 1 日～2027 年 9 月 30 日

※国際会議発表は会議開始日、短期在外研究は日本出発日を基準とする

(3) 助成件数：国際会議発表と短期在外研究を合わせて 10 件程度

【応募資格・条件】

(1) 助成期間中、日本国内の大学、高等専門学校、研究機関に所属していること。ただし修士課程在学の学生は対象外。

(2) 助成開始時（4月1日）の年齢が40歳以下であること。

(3) 国際会議発表は海外で開催される国際会議で、かつ論文が採択され、発表者であること。申請時に採否未定の場合は採否決定予定日を明記してください。オンラインによる参加は対象外とします。

(4) 短期在外研究は30日以上180日以内の海外滞在であり、受入れ研究者の招聘状を提出できること。

(5) 助成期間中、当財団の他の助成を受けないこと。また同一年度に当財団へ応募できる申請は1件とします。

(6) 同一内容で、他の公的機関や財団から助成金や補助金を受けないこと

FY 2027 (First Term) Application Guidelines

1.Outline

This foundation supports early-career researchers with limited experience outside of Japan in the fields of electronics and information engineering by providing funding so they can present their research at international conferences and undertake short-term research overseas that promotes harmony between humans and machines. The foundation’s goal is to contribute to the sound development of science and technology from a human-centered perspective and to support international collaboration.

2. Application Period: Thursday, Oct 1, 2026, to Friday, Dec 11, 2026, 17:30　(JST)
3. Fields: Science and Engineering / Electronics and Information Engineering

4. Grant Information

i.  Up to 700,000 yen for international conference presentations (including administrative overhead)

ii. Up to 1,200,000 yen for short-term research overseas (including administrative overhead)

iii. Grant period: Between Apr 1, 2027, and Sep 30, 2027

iv.   Number of grants: Approximately 10 awards (international conference presentations and short-term research overseas combined)

5. Applicants must meet all the following criteria to be eligible.

i.  Applicants must be affiliated with a university or research institution in Japan. Students currently in a master’s program are not eligible.

ii.  Applicants must be 40 years old or younger at the time of application.

iii.  The international conferences must be held outside of Japan. Conferences held online are not eligible.

iv.  Applicants must have a research paper accepted for presentation at an international conference.

v.  Applicants must present a research paper at an international conference. Applicants must indicate an estimated date by which they will have proof of their research paper being accepted for presentation

    if they do not have proof at time of application to this grant.

vi.  For short-term research (between 30 days and 180 days) outside of Japan, applicants are required to submit a letter of acceptance from the host institution.

vii.  During the grant period, applicants are not eligible to receive other grants from this foundation. Applicants may submit only one application per year.

viii.   Grant recipients must not accept grants or subsidies from other foundations or public institutions for the same presentation or research funded by this grant.
