我が国の大学等の研究機関（営利企業を除く）に所属する常勤の研究者であり、海外の大学等の研究機関の研究グループと共同で研究を行う研究グループの代表者

THE KAJIMA FOUNDATION
International Joint Research Grants
1. Outline
Financial support for research expenses is provided to joint research activities conducted by both Japanese and international researchers.
This grant supports the following research fields:
(1) Improvement of urban and residential environments
(2) Effective utilization of land and resources
(3) Promotion of disaster prevention and crisis management
(4) Preservation of cultural and natural environments
* Research may also include advanced technologies, such as social systems and information technologies, related to items (1) through (4).
2. Eligibility
(1) The applicants must be the representative of the research group.
(2) Applicants are required to have a basic agreement on a research plan with domestic and international collaborative research groups at the time of application.
3. Application Period: Tuesday, 1 July 2025 to Wednesday, 15 October 2025
Note: If the applicant is a dean or director, the application form must be submitted to the International Affairs Division by 17:00 (JST) on Wednesday, 24 September 2025.
4. Letter of Recommendation
1) Applicants are required to submit a letter of recommendation from a dean or director at a graduate school or research institute.
2) Applicants who are a dean or director must submit a letter of recommendation from the president of the University of Osaka
5. Total Amount: The maximum total grant amount per project over two years (including a potential second year) is 10 million yen.
6. Duration of the grant:
The grant period shall, in principle, be one year, and may be extended to a maximum of two years.
The joint research must be conducted between 1 April 2026 to 30 March 2027.
7. Required documents:
(1) Applicants are required to submit an application form through the online system.
(2) Applicants are required to submit a breakdown of collaborative research expenses.
(3) A letter of recommendation from a dean or a director is required.
*Applicants who are a dean or director must submit a letter of recommendation from the president of the University of Osaka.

（注1）部局確認が「必要」となっている場合は・・・
所属部局の担当者に応募予定であることを連絡し、必要な手続きを確認してください。
ただし、医学系研究科に所属している方は、部局確認が「必要」となっていなくても、応募を予定している場合は必ず担当係（総務課企画係）へ問い合わせてください。
