公益財団法人ユニオン造形文化財団は、空間造形デザイン文化の振興と向上とErgodesignCulture(エルゴデザイン/人間を中心においた人間のためのデザイン)の創出を図るため、広く一般からの公募により各種助成を行い、これによってこの方面の研究者等に我が国造形文化発展のために貢献していただくことを目的としています。したがって、既成の考え方や一つの専門分野にとらわれない学際的、先見的、かつ個性的なテーマの応募を歓迎します。

【 助成の対象】
空間造形デザインに関する国際交流に対する助成
① 国内の空間造形デザイナーの国内外における個展及び講演会等の開催に対する助成。
② 国内外の空間造形デザインの発展向上を目的として国内で開催される、シンポジウム・セミナーに対する助成。
※ エルゴデザインやユニバーサルデザイン
・建築周辺環境に関するデザイン
建築デザイン、ランドスケープデザイン・パブリックアート等
・生活環境デザイン
住宅環境デザイン、インテリアデザイン、インダストリアルデザイン等
【応募資格】
国際間の空間造形デザイン文化交流に理解と関心を持ち、その振興発展に貢献を希望する個人、又は団体等で活動を行う者とします。
【 助成予定件数、助成額及び助成期間】
① 助成予定件数 2～3件程度
② 助成額 1件当たり100万円を限度。
③ 助成対象期間 助成対象期間は、令和9年4月から1年とします。

ユニオン造形文化財団ホームページ（https://www.uffec.com/）より「募集要項」のページ、又は各ページ下部にある「令和9年度各種助成公募」バナーにて内容をご覧いただき、「令和9年度国際交流助成申請書」をダウンロード。必要事項をご記入のうえ、下記当財団助成応募係へ送信してください。
共同研究の場合、代表研究者は、共同研究者の参加について、確認のうえ提出願います。尚、同一年度における申請は、1申請者につき1件とします。

FY2027 Grant Application Guidelines: International Exchange
◆Eligible Projects
Projects supporting international exchange in spatial design*
1) Projects involving Japan-based spatial designers holding solo exhibitions, lectures, or related events both domestically and internationally.
2) Projects involving international symposia and seminars held in Japan aimed at developing and advancing spatial design domestically and internationally.
*Spatial design includes: Ergodesign & universal design
Environmental design around architecture
(Architectural and landscape design, public art, etc.)
Living environment design
(residential environment, interior, and industrial design, etc.)
◆ Eligible Applicants
Applicants must be individuals or members of a group with an understanding of and interest in international cultural exchange in spatial design, and who wish to contribute to its promotion and development.
◆ Grant Amount
1) Number of awards: Approximately 2-3
2) Grant amount: Up to JPY 1,000,000 per award
3) Application period: Applicants must start their international exchange from April 2027, with the grant covering a period of one year

2) For collaborative projects/research, a representative must confirm the participation of co-researchers/collaborators prior to submission of the application. Please note that each applicant may submit only one application per fiscal year.
