国際交流助成

◆応募資格

我が国の大学（含，大学院大学）・大学共同利用機関の研究者及びアジア地域の大学・研究機 関等の研究者からなる共同研究グループとする。

申し込みは研究代表者（我が国の常勤研究者）が行う。 （注）共同研究者にアジア地域の大学・研究機関等の研究者が含まれていないものは対象と ならない。

◆対象分野 ：対象分野は，アジア地域（中近東，シベリア等を含む。）に関するものであれば特に限定しない。 （注）研究の対象がアジア地域に関するものでないものは，助成の対象とならない。

◆助成金：１件につき１５０万円以内

◆応募に必要な書類

(1) アジア地域重点学術研究助成申込書  １部

① 申込書は，本財団のホームページ(http://hnf.jp/)からダウンロードして作成すること。

② 申込書は，日本語で作成すること。

③ 申込書は，片面モノクロ印刷し，クリップ止めすること。

(2) 返信用封筒 定型［長３］に研究代表者の住所，氏名を記入し，１１０円切手を貼付のこと。

Joint Research Grant on the Asian Region

FY 2026 Application Guidelines

Outline:

This foundation provides support for outstanding international joint research on the Asian region, conducted by researchers from universities and research institutes in Japan and other Asian regions.

The organization of and participation in conferences (e.g., international research conventions, symposia, seminars, academic conferences, and lectures) are not eligible for support.

1. 1. Eligibility
      Joint research groups must be composed of researchers from universities and inter-university research institutes in Japan, as well as researchers from universities and research institutes in other Asian regions.

  Applications must be submitted by the principal investigator (full-time researcher) from a university or research institute in Japan.

 Joint research groups that do not include researchers from universities or research institutes in the Asian region are not eligible.

1. 2. Eligible research fields
       Any research field related to the Asian region (including the Middle East and Siberia) is eligible. Research not related to the Asian region is not eligible for support.
3. 3. Application period: Postmarked by Friday, 31 October 2025
5. 4. Number of grants awarded: 28 joint research groups
7. 5. Grant amount: Within ¥1,500,000 per research group

ii.   Application forms must be filled out in Japanese.

iii.  Application forms must be printed one-sided in black and white and paperclipped together.

iv.  A stamped and addressed envelope (standard-size long No.3) with the principal investigator’s name and address, affixed with a 110-yen stamp, must be enclosed.
