国際交流助成

◆助成件数　2025年度は全3回実施

・海外派遣：年間36件程度

・日本招聘：年間28件程度（被招聘者数）

◆応募資格：海外派遣

・日本の大学およびこれに準ずる研究機関に属する研究者または技術者（大学院生も応募可能）
・募集締切日に40歳以下の者

・申請者の所属機関長による推薦・出張承諾書、および発表の採択通知が必要

・同一研究科（専攻）から、同一の会議または研究会への採択については、最大2名までとする（応募は制限しない）

◆応募資格：日本招聘

・応募者は、招聘する日本側受入責任者とし、大学およびこれに準ずる研究機関に属する者とする。

・国内で開催される会議等の内容が分かる資料（パンフレット等）を提出。

・被招聘者に関する資料（代表的な論文の要約等）を提出。

  ◆応募方法：Web申請

本財団ホームページの「マイページ」よりログインし、申請書類をダウンロードして書類作成の上、所定のファイル形式で提出（アップロード）する。

※初めての方はマイページの登録を行い、ID・パスワードを取得すること。

1) Eligible research fields:

BME (Bio Medical Engineering) - Transdisciplinary research field integrating life sciences and engineering

■ This foundation aims to support research with creative and innovative approaches that contribute to medical care and human health.

■BME encompasses the transdisciplinary research field integrating life sciences and engineering.

■ This foundation supports a wide range of research, from basic to advanced.

The second round of application period: Friday, 1 August 2025 to Friday, 29 August 2025

The third round application period: Monday, 1 December 2025 to Friday, 26 December 2025

3) Number of grants:

Overseas dispatch: A total of approximately 36 for three rounds a year

(*The first round of selection has been already closed in April 2025.)

Inviting researchers to Japan: A total of approximately 28 for three rounds a year

4) Allocation:

Overseas dispatch: Up to ¥400,000 for travel expenses and living expenses

Inviting researchers to Japan: Up to ¥500,000 for travel expenses and living expenses

5) Eligibility

<Conditions for overseas dispatch>

1: This fund is open to researchers or engineers affiliated with universities, graduate schools or research institutions.

Applicants enrolled in doctoral programs are also eligible.

2: Applicants must be 40 years old or younger as of the deadline: 29 Augst 2025 for the second round, and 26 December 2025 for the third round.

3: Applicants are required to submit a recommendation; recommenders include deans or directors of the applicant’s graduate school or research institution.

4: Applicants are required to submit a travel authorization from deans or directors of the applicant’s graduate school or research institution.

5: Applicants are required to submit a letter of acceptance for their research presentation.

6:　A maximum of two individuals from the same graduate school or department may be selected for the same conference or symposium, however, there are no restrictions on the number of applications.

<Conditions for inviting researchers to Japan>

1: Applicants, who are responsible for inviting researchers, must be affiliated with universities or research institutions in Japan.

2: Applicants are required to submit an overview (including brochures) of the conference to be held in Japan.

3: Applicants are required to submit documents (e.g., the abstracts of representative papers) for invited researchers.
