◆内容◆
基礎医学医療の研究を目的として海外から日本の研究施設へ留学する大学院生、研究員、postdoctoral fellowshipに対して、研究費・生活費の助成を行います。
◆助成金額：月額10万円を12カ月（年額120万円）
◆応募資格◆
日本国内での留学期間が連続した3年以上で、かつ2026年4月から2027年3月までの1年間を含む期間、研究に従事する予定の大学院生、研究員またはpostdoctoral fellowshipに該当する方。
※過去3年以内に同種目で助成を受けられていない方が対象です。
◆応募期間：2025年11月1日(土) 0:00 〜 11月30日(日)
◆応募書類◆
①所属研究施設の指導教官1名の推薦状。推薦状には
1)申請者の2026年4月時の役職
2)推薦者の署名
を含めること
②発表論文の内代表的なものを1点

Grant for Living Expenses of Foreign Nationals in Japan
1. Outline
This grant provides financial support for research and living expenses to graduate students, researchers, and postdoctoral fellows overseas who conduct research at institutions in Japan in the fields of basic medical sciences and healthcare.
2. Allocation: 100,000 JPY per month (Total for 12 months: 1,200,000 JPY)
3. Eligibility
Applicants must be planning to conduct research for three consecutive years in Japan, including one academic year from April 2026 to March 2027.
*Applicants who have received this grant within the past three years are not eligible.
4. Application Period: Saturday, 1 November 2025 to Sunday, 30 November 2025
5. Required Documents
ⅰ. Applicants are required to submit one representative research article in PDF format with the application form.
ⅱ. Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation from a supervisor at the applicant’s host Japanese institution.
The letter of recommendation must include:
・ Expected position of the applicant as of April 2026
・ Signature of the host researcher (recommender)
