International Academic Exchange Grants
Grants for holding international conferences, symposia, and other meetings in the social sciences and humanities (social, culture, history, politics, economics, etc.) on Asia and Oceania countries and regions.
Overview of Funding
ⅰ. Qualification Requirement:
Recommendation must be obtained from someone affiliated with a university or research institution in Japan.
Non-Japanese applicants must belong to a university or research institute in Japan.
ⅱ. Recommender Requirement:
・Have a detailed understanding of the content of the application (research, academic exchange, publication) and its academic significance.
・Understand the applicant's qualifications as a researcher.
ⅲ. Application Period: May 18 through July 31, 2026 (applications must be received by this date)
ⅳ. Period of Activities: April 1,2027 through March 31, 2028 (scheduled)
Ⅴ. Funding: International Academic Exchange: 1year
Ⅵ. Amount of Funding per Individual: Around ¥500,000–¥2,000,000

所属部局の担当者に応募予定であることを連絡し、必要な手続きを確認してください。
ただし、医学系研究科に所属している方は、部局確認が「必要」となっていなくても、応募を予定している場合は必ず担当係（総務課企画係）へ問い合わせてください。
（注2）総長（学長）推薦が必要な申請書類については・・・
公印押印箇所以外の総長（学長）名等を含む必要箇所を全て記載し、所属部局の担当者経由で申請してください。
