国立研究開発法人情報通信研究機構（NICTエヌアイシーティー、理事長: 大野 英男）は、海外の研究者を受け入れて情報通信分野の研究及び技術開発を行う国内の大学、民間企業その他公益法人等の機関を支援するために、渡航費、滞在費等の招へいに必要な経費を支給する「海外研究者招へい」事業を行っております。

【応募要領】
（1） 応募資格
応募者は、情報通信分野の研究及び技術開発又は学術的な活動を行うために海外研究者の受入れを希望する研究機関等とします。
研究機関等とは、民間企業の研究開発部署、大学（高等専門学校、大学共同利用機関法人等を含む。）、公益法人等の研究機関（NICTは除く。）を指します。
（2） 招へい研究者の要件
博士の学位取得者又は同等以上の能力を有する情報通信分野の研究者とします。外国に5年以上在住の日本国籍を有する者であって、
当該国の学界で活躍している研究者も含みます。なお、実績のある優秀な博士課程在籍中の研究者も対象となります。
（3） 招へい期間
招へい期間は、原則として12か月以内です。令和9年4月1日（木）から令和10年3月31日（金）までの期間内に実施される招へいが対象となります。
（4） 採択予定人数：10人程度（年度予算又は採択案件の費用により、変動することがあります。）

Financial Support Program for International Researcher Invitation
1. Eligibility
Institutions or other organizations hoping to host researchers from outside of Japan for the purpose of conducting research, developing technologies, or carrying out academic activities in the field of information and communications are eligible to apply for this program.
Examples of eligible institutions are R&D departments at private companies, universities research institutions (including Inter‐University Research Institutes and colleges of technology), research institutions at public-interest corporations and other similar organizations.
2. Researchers Eligible for Invitation
Eligible researchers must have obtained their doctoral degree or be able to prove equivalent knowledge, related to the information and communications technology field. Those with Japanese nationality who have resided outside of Japan for at least 5 years and are actively engaged in academic work abroad are also eligible.
Highly qualified doctoral candidates with a demonstrated record of achievement may also be considered.
3.Invitation Period：In principle, the period the researcher is invited for must be no more than twelve months. The applicable invitation period starts from April 1, 2027, and lasts until March 31, 2028.
4. Number of Awards：Approximately 10 applicants will be selected. (The number of available awards is subject to change depending on the NICT FY2027 budget or the costs of selected recipients.)
5. Application Deadline: Thursday, October 8, 2026 17:00 (JST)
6. Application Process
Applicants must complete an invitation proposal using the forms from the Application Guidelines and submit via email: int_prog@ml.nict.go.jp by the application deadline.
Applicants are requested to thoroughly review the Application Guidelines, as they outline the responsibilities of the invited researchers and host institutions, and the expenses, etc., to be provided by NICT.

7. Important Note: The implementation of this program is contingent upon the approval of the NICT FY2027 budget.
Accordingly, applicants should be aware that changes may occur, including the possible cancellation of the program.

ただし、医学系研究科に所属している方は、部局確認が「必要」となっていなくても、応募を予定している場合は必ず担当係（総務課企画係）へ問い合わせてください。
