2. Definition of Conflict of Interest

Conflict of interest associated with promoting industry-university-government cooperation are situations in which economic benefits for university faculty and staff conflict with their responsibilities in education and research at the university and are defined as follows.

At Osaka University, managing conflict of interest applies to broadly-defined conflict of interest in which narrowly-defined conflict of interest are combined with conflict of responsibility.
