2016 Extension Course for HS Students -- Molecular Biology Hands-on Course, "Giant Impact"

From Tuesday, December 27 through Thursday, December 29, 2016, the Department of Biological Sciences of the Graduate School of Science is holding a "Molecular Biology Seminar for HS Students -- Giant Impact" at School of Science Main building on the Toyonaka campus. During the three-day course in the winter holidays, HS students will be enchanted by bioscience research and enjoy experiments and discussion through genetic engineering experiments with colon bacillus and examinations using an electronic microscope.

 This course is scientific career education to turn learning into zest for living by providing students with the basics of science workers, problem-discovering ability and problem-solving ability as well as by making them think about the purpose of learning.


This course is intended for science-oriented 2nd and 3rd year high school students. Prior to this course, a separate preliminary seminar will be held.

Participation fee: 9,500 yen
