Experts verify government projects for the first time in the region! "Osaka Review" in Osaka University

2016-11-5 (Sat) 13:00 - 17:00

"Osaka Review," in which projects in each governmental department are verified under the Administrative Reform Promotion Council, will be held at Osaka University's Toyonaka Campus.

This will be the first time in which external experts will publicly verify governmental projects outside of Tokyo. This review was realized through a proposal by Osaka University students to the Cabinet minister in the  "Review of a Review" project.

Minister in charge of administrative reform YAMAMOTO Kozo will also be in attendance for the Osaka Review, which will connect Tokyo and Osaka together via the internet, making it a valuable opportunity to have discussions about topics that are important to you and deliver your opinions and questions to those in attendance. We hope to see not only students from Osaka University, but also members of the general public in attendance as well.

The official decision on the holding of this event will be made by the Administrative Reform Promotion Council at the end of October, but since this will be the first time a review will be held in the region, this event page will be used to deliver information to related individuals beforehand in order to spread the word about this event.
