Osaka University & Osaka College of Music 8th Joint Project "What You See and What I can See: A Child's World and an Adult's World"

2016-11-23 (Wed) 14:00 - 16:00

Two universities in Toyonaka City, Osaka University, a comprehensive university with "Live Locally, Grow Globally" as its slogan, and Osaka College of Music, a college aiming to become a leader of revolutionary music culture, have held joint events in the hope that such events would contribute to the promotion of cultural strengths of the local communities.

This 8th joint event will be held under the theme of  "The World of Children and The World of Adults." Children's imagination allows them to create a world that only they can see, which is said to often be different from the real world, or the adult world. But what we often forget is that we were all once children ourselves. At this concert, we'll think about the question of "What is a child?" through pieces by artists with deep connections to children. Let's think together about the imagination that adults have lost.
