The Museum of Osaka University - "The Theater of Memory": Cultivation of Cultural Arts Facilitators to Utilize the Museum of Osaka University

2016-5-16 (Mon) - 2016-6-7 (Tue)

At the Museum of Osaka University, we will be holding "The Theater of Memory": Cultivation of Cultural Arts Facilitators to Utilize the Museum of Osaka University. This course is one started as a program to cultivate art management human resources, and aims to develop cultural arts facilitators who draw out the richness of each "museum piece" displayed at the university and display them as "living art."

Through utilizing, creating and collecting various "museum pieces," we will pursue the role of the "research museum," which interlocks art practice approaches through collaboration with the local community and the potential of basic research. We have prepared a human resource cultivation program that can flexibly respond to facilitation of various cultural areas, including not only theater music, and art, but covering fields in the world of natural sciences as well.

We are recruiting students who will take this course in order to learn methods of promoting projects and management of cultural art. In this course, through various activities, we will learn about methods of management and implementation of projects and eventually hold an exhibit.
