Student+Venture Co-Creation Workshop - Experience Venture Business!

2015-12-5 (Sat) 13:00 - 17:00

Even if you were to land a job in a large company, you never know when that company could be swallowed up by economic recession. It's for this very reason that there has been a rise in the number of students considering employment in ventures with potential for growth or even starting their own businesses. However, when it comes to recognizable names in venture businesses and start-ups, the majority of them are centered in Tokyo, leaving the Kansai region lacking in number and notoriety. So even if one is considering employment in a venture business in Kansai, information on what kinds of venture businesses and entrepreneurs are in the area is difficult to find.

Contrary to how it may seem, there are quite a few outstanding venture businesses in Kansai, but the visibility of these businesses is low. Thus, though promising individuals, particularly those who have a strong sense of entrepreneurship or those who possess engineering skills, are being sought after on the part of the company, this information is not reaching students.

At this workshop, while raising a sense of entrepreneurship through a lecture by an active entrepreneur, we've prepared an opportunity for experience what it would be like to work in a venture business by working together on the same level with employees from venture businesses, forming a brand new community between students and venture businesses.

This is a great opportunity for students who have any interest in venture business to learn about the appeal and work involved in these kinds of businesses. Additionally, for those who are considering internships in venture business, this is a chance to get to better know prospective companies. Those with any interest in venture businesses are encouraged to attend.
