Osaka University Joint Research Course Symposium #8: "The Past 10 Years of the Joint Research Course and Its Future Development"

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Joint Research Course that Osaka University, under the slogan of "Industry on Campus," took the initiative to establish ahead of other universities. This course was widely recognized as a new form of industry-university collaboration and was highly evaluated. Its achievements have earned it the 12th Industry-Academia-Government Collaboration Contribution Award by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology last year. Under the theme of "The Progress of the Joint Research Course in the Last 10 Years and its Future Development," this symposium will take a look back at its achievements.

We will also discuss the outlook for the next 10 years including new development of industry-university collaboration based on the Joint Research Course and Collaborative Research Center and achievements of and expectation for human resources development. The organizers look forward to welcoming many of you to this seminar.
