Let's Discover Vietnamese Culture: Living Learning -- Higashi Osaka Japanese Language Class (HONK) Cooperation Lecture

The students of the Graduate School of Language and Culture and the School of Foreign Studies at Osaka University will be holding a lecture about their experiences of Vietnam through their research, fieldwork, and study abroad. We hope to share the "living learning" of Osaka University while further promoting exchange between Vietnamese and Japanese citizens of Higashiosaka City through hands-on Vietnamese cultural experiences.

Program

Part 1 -- Student Presentations: "Living Learning"

  1. Taking part in a Coupling Internship through a Japanese-affiliated company in Vietnam
  2. Vietnamese language education for children with Vietnamese roots living in Osaka
  3. Vietnamese traditional culture, Aquatic Puppet Show, Minorities in Vietnam

Part 2 -- Social Gathering and Discussion with Students

This is a chance for participants to discuss their opinions with students.
