Chi-deli in 3331 Arts Chiyoda - The Horizon of Things and Words

2015-10-12 (Mon) 18:30 - 20:35

The world is made up of "things" and "words."
Words are generated because things exist, and we can recognize things because words exist. In this way, the relationship between "things" and "words" is like the wheel of Ouroboros, with things creating words and words creating things, but just where is it leading humankind?
In order to approach to this ultimate question, at this "Chi-deli," we've put the spotlight on two individuals from completely different fields. The first is a planetary geologist who wages daily battles in his quest to uncover the mysteries of the world of "things," from every nook and cranny of the earth to the ends of the universe. The other is a theater director, expressing human nature from antiquity to modern day in the unique "language" called chiten. We encourage you to come and witness the appearance of a new time and space.
