For this workshop, we've invited Nintendo Wii Developer TAMAKI Shinichiro to talk about how to make concepts and stories. This is a free workshop open to the public, so anyone interested is encouraged to attend.

Workshop Overview

Date and Time: Tuesday, March 24, 2015 -- 14:00~18:00

Venue: Matching Type Seminar Room, Center for Education in Liberal Arts and Sciences (CELAS), Osaka University

Participation Fee and Capacity: Participation in this workshop is free, and capacity is limited to 25 persons.

Guest: TAMAKI Shinichiro
Born in 1977 and a graduate of Tokyo Institute of Technology and Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, TAMAKI Shinichiro originally joined Nintendo as a programmer, but later worked as a planner. Because he had such a cross-sectional involvement on all things planning and development for the Wii, from hardware to software to network services, he is often called the "Evangelist of the Wii" due to the sheer number of presentations he has done about the game system, which has sold 100 million units worldwide.
In 2010, he left Nintendo and returned to Hachinohe city in Aomori prefecture, where he started "Wakaru Office," which provides consulting, web service and application development, and talks and seminars, as well as human resource development and regional revitalization.
He has served as administration officer of the specified non-profit corporation platform Aomori since May 2011, and specially appointed professor in the business department of Hachinohe Gakuin University since April 2014.
