Overview of content:
In developing countries where infectious diseases are serious problems, vaccinations have not been widely prevalent for technical and economic reasons, leading to the death of thousands of children each day by preventable infectious diseases. In order to break down this situation and conduct a large-scale vaccination for preventing pandemics, the development of effective, inexpensive, safe, less-invasive, and easy-to-use skin patch vaccines is much sought after. This lecture will introduce the latest research at Osaka University, a pioneer of vaccine development.
