Thinking about employment for Persons with an Autism Spectrum Disorder

The United School of Child Development and the Support Center for Campus Life have invited lecturers from the TEACCH Center in America, a foremost center in autism support, to speak about career training and employment support for young people with developmental disorders. Persons interested in these topics are cordially invited to attend.

Lecture: "Thinking about employment for Persons with an Autism Spectrum Disorder"

Intended for: Persons interested in career training and employment support for young people with developmental disorders.

Date & Time: Thursday, January 15 -- 4:30 ~ 8:00 p.m.

Venue: Saji Keizo Memorial Hall, 10 F, Nakanoshima Center, Osaka University

Lecturers: S. Michael Chapman, Director, TEACCH Autism Program; Glenna Osborne, Assistant Director, Youth Employment Support Div., TEACCH Autism Program

Note: The lectures will be presented in English. Simultaneous translation will be available to persons needing such via wireless receivers. If you will require such a device, please indicate that on your application form (see below).

Attendance fee: ¥3,000 (Wireless receivers for simultaneous translation will be available for an additional ¥1,000). All fee(s) are payable at the reception desk.

Note: Admission for Osaka University faculty and staff is free.
