Osaka University has been one of the key photonics research centers in the world for a century, with many of its schools conducting research and education in topics related to photonics, and with more than 100 laboratories involved in the basic to applied levels of research in photonics producing numerous talented scientists and engineers every year.

At the start of 2015, the International Year of Light, we are happy to invite you to discuss the frontier and future of photonics with world leaders at this international symposium in Osaka.
