Osaka University's GLOCOL will hold the seminar #116 "Where there are outsiders, sorrow, and pain -- questioning the meaning of fieldwork" on Monday, September 8. This seminar will make interdisciplinary comparison of new fieldwork, relationship with strangers, objective understanding of strangers, and emphatic understanding.

This seminar will be conducted in Japanese. Translation services for presentations in English from English to Japanese will be provided.
