Osaka University Symposium: Tekijuku Heisei Improvements -- Historic Inheritance for the Future

In celebration of the successful completion of seismic retrofitting and the reopening of the national important asset Tekijuku, Osaka University will hold a symposium on Sunday, September 21. When conducting the seismic retrofitting, a pioneering approach, a virtually new step in the protection of a cultural asset, was taken. This symposium will consider the significance of inheriting OGATA Koan's spirit and of making use of state-of-the-art technology at Tekijuku to pass on this inheritance to the future.

Doors open at 13:00.
