Explanatory Session for the ImPACT program

The Council for Science and Technology Policy has discussed the ImPACT program. This program is a new system designed to assist in the creation of totally new science and technology which, if achieved, will bring major reform to industry and society while promoting high risk and high impact innovative research and development. In ImPACT, program managers in charge of management in areas of research and development, such as planning, implementation, and management of research and development programs, will be given a budget and authority.
In response to the start of the recruitment of program managers, an explanatory session by Cabinet Office staff will be held  in order to deepen the understanding of the purpose and content of ImPact.

Date & Time: Friday, March 14, 2014, 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Venue: Seminar Room, 3rd floor, Nanobiology Building, Graduate School of Frontier Biosciences
