CLE (Collaboration & Learning Environment) Training Course for Faculty Members

Collaborative Learning Environment (CLE) training programs for faculty members will be held over two days as noted below. In the program for experienced learners, an instructor will explain how to use tools for activating group learning, how to communicate between instructors and students, and statistical tools for the accessing student status. All interested faculty members are encouraged to attend.

CLE training program for beginners

Venue: Room #2, Information Education, 2nd floor, Cybermedia Center, Toyonaka Education and Research Building, Toyonaka campus
Prerequisites: None

  • Basic operations and convenient function (how to upload teaching materials...)
  • Registration of courses
  • Student registration
  • Publication of teaching materials
  • Doing an assignment
  • On-line tests
  • Management of learning results
  • Style setup for MyBlackboard 

What to bring: No special requests.

CLE training program for experienced learners

Date & Time: Thursday, December 26, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
Venue:  Room #2, Information Education, 2nd floor, Toyonaka Education and Research Building, Cybermedia Center, Toyonaka campus
Prerequisites: having used CLE or knowing its basic operations
Content

  • Communication function and statistical information of the CLE
  • Confirming student access status
  • Maintaining statics about student access
  • Tools for communication: bulletin board, journal, blog, Wiki
  • Communication between instructors and students in the CLE
  • Group learning in the CLE
