ALEC Lecture -- "Choosing to be an In-House Counsel"

The ALEC lecture on December 13 will provide feed-back on the topic of "Choosing to be an In-House Counsel." Having had many opportunities to listen to the difficulties and troubles faced by young graduates of law school thrown directly into an in-house counsel position without any legal experience or experience as a member of society, today's lecturer is amply qualified.

Profile: Born in 1967, Mr. Ashihara joined Mori Hamada & Matsumoto LPC in 1995, AFLAC in 1999, and Mizuho Securities Co., Ltd. in 2009. He is an advocate of risk control legislation. He lectures at Omiya Law School. Publications include Understanding through Examples: Helpful Advice for Problem Employees [joint authorship], Shinnippon-Hoki Publishing Co. Ltd.: 2013; Legal Power for Businessmen, Asahi Shimbun Publications Inc.: 2009; Choosing to be an In-House Counsel, Shojihomu Co., Ltd.: 2008.
